These Terms govern your use of the Volvida website, educational guide, guide-request form, and related materials. By using the website or requesting the guide, you agree to these Terms.
2. Volvida's limited educational role
Volvida provides general educational information only. Volvida is not an insurer, insurance agency, life-settlement provider, broker, buyer, or referral service. Volvida does not:
- Buy or sell life insurance policies.
- Evaluate policy eligibility or policy value.
- Obtain, solicit, compare, or recommend offers.
- Negotiate, arrange, or assist with life-settlement transactions.
- Connect visitors with buyers, providers, brokers, insurers, or referral partners.
- Promise outcomes or tell visitors what a policy may be worth.
- Offer debt-settlement or credit-repair services.
A guide request is a request for educational material only. It does not create a brokerage, agency, fiduciary, advisory, client, referral, or other professional relationship.
3. No professional advice
The website and guide do not provide legal, tax, insurance, investment, accounting, medical, or financial advice. Before making a decision about an insurance policy, consult appropriately licensed and qualified professionals and verify licenses through the relevant state regulator.
4. General nature of life-settlement information
A life settlement may involve significant financial, tax, privacy, insurance, creditor, public-benefit, and beneficiary consequences. Availability and requirements vary by state and circumstance. Alternatives may include keeping or modifying coverage, accessing available policy value, surrendering the policy, or allowing it to lapse. Volvida does not recommend one option or determine suitability.
5. No guarantee of accuracy, availability, or results
Laws, regulations, market practices, policy terms, and outside resources can change. We do not warrant that content is complete, error-free, current for every jurisdiction, or appropriate for a particular decision. We do not guarantee guide delivery, eligibility, offers, proceeds, savings, timing, or any other outcome.
6. Geographic availability
The guide may not be available in every U.S. state. The guide is not currently available for California residents. Website availability in a location does not mean Volvida offers a regulated service in that jurisdiction. Volvida does not offer any regulated insurance services in any U.S. state.
7. Guide requests and communications
By submitting the form, you request the educational guide and acknowledge the form disclosures and Privacy Policy. Weekly newsletters are sent only when the separate, initially unchecked box is affirmatively selected. A submitted phone number may be used only for a manual, non-sales call related to receipt of or help with the guide. Submitting the form is not consent to robocalls, prerecorded messages, texts, recurring call lists, or promotional calls.
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and use the site lawfully.
- Submit your own contact information, not another person's without authorization.
- Do not submit sensitive personal information or policy documents.
- Do not disrupt, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or misuse the website.
- Do not imply that Volvida evaluated a policy, endorsed a professional, or recommended a transaction.
9. Intellectual property and third-party resources
The website, guide, logo, text, graphics, and other Volvida materials are owned by or licensed to Volvida and protected by applicable law. You may use the guide for personal or professional education but may not sell it, remove notices, misrepresent authorship, or imply endorsement. Links to regulators or other resources are provided for convenience; Volvida does not control or guarantee them.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, guide, and related materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Volvida and its owner, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or decisions made in reliance on these materials. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Privacy, changes, and availability
The Privacy Policy and Notice at Collection describe Volvida's information practices. We may update, suspend, or discontinue the website, guide, policies, or program. Revised Terms take effect when posted with a new effective date, except where additional notice or consent is required.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
