1. Who we are
Volvida is a fictitious business name operated by Shahrokh Nikbakht, a California sole proprietor (“Volvida,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information through the website, educational guide-request program, and related communications.
Volvida provides general educational information only. We are not an insurer, insurance agency, life-settlement provider, broker, buyer, or referral service, and we do not participate in life-settlement transactions.
2. Information we collect
When you request the guide, we collect:
- State where the policy owner lives.
- The broad research purpose selected on the form.
- Full name, email address, and required phone number.
- Approximate age range of the insured person.
- Newsletter choice and other communication preferences.
Hosting, security, and measurement systems may process IP address, approximate location, browser, device, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, campaign parameters, cookie choices, and basic security events. ChatGPT Sites may record basic traffic statistics such as page views and unique visitors.
3. How we use information
- Deliver the requested educational guide.
- Determine whether the guide is available in the selected state.
- Provide manual, non-sales assistance related to receipt of or access to the guide.
- Send permitted guide-related updates and, only when affirmatively selected, the weekly newsletter.
- Maintain communication preferences, prevent duplicate or fraudulent requests, and protect the website.
- Understand audience interest and advertising performance in aggregate.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and improve the website and guide-delivery process.
We do not use guide-request information to evaluate policy eligibility, estimate policy value, obtain offers, negotiate or facilitate a transaction, make referrals, or build advertising audiences.
4. California visitors
The guide is not currently available for policies owned by California residents. If California is selected, the standard contact form does not submit. Volvida may record only an anonymous aggregate interest event that is not linked to name, email, phone, age range, or research-purpose fields.
5. Communications
We use the submitted email address to deliver the requested guide and may send occasional important updates directly related to the guide. The weekly newsletter is separate, optional, and sent only when its initially unchecked box is affirmatively selected. You may unsubscribe from non-delivery emails at any time.
A submitted phone number may be used only for a manual, non-sales call reasonably related to confirming receipt of or helping with the requested guide. We do not use it for robocalls, prerecorded messages, texts, recurring call lists, transaction discussions, valuations, or promotional calls.
6. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the website, store guide requests, deliver email, prevent abuse, or obtain professional advice. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or website security.
Volvida does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, provide guide-request records to life-settlement transaction participants, upload recipients to advertising audiences, or include form answers or contact information in advertising-measurement events.
7. Advertising, analytics, and cookie choices
Our website provider may collect basic traffic statistics. Volvida may also record limited information about how a visitor reached the website, including the page visited, referring source, advertising source, and tracking choice. If you choose “Allow measurement,” advertising-measurement tools may record generic page-view and guide-request events. These events do not include your form answers or contact information, and we do not use submitted contact information to match you for advertising purposes. Choosing “Necessary only” does not prevent a guide request or change your newsletter selection.
8. Retention and security
We retain personal information only as reasonably necessary to deliver and support the guide, maintain accurate preferences and suppression records, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When it is no longer reasonably necessary, we delete or deidentify it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.
9. Your privacy choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete associated information; unsubscribe from optional communications; request no phone contact; or change optional measurement choices.

10. Children, third-party links, and changes
The website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. Third-party regulator or licensing links have their own practices. We may update this Policy and will post the revised version with a new effective date.
